Objective: Introduce and promote the new Clairol hair color product, Xtreme FX. Xtreme FX would have a huge presence at edgy events such as the Gravity games. Clairol also needed to generate traffic to the new Xtreme FX website. The item needed to be inexpensive and reinforce the unique colors of the brand and generate excitement at the events.

Solutions: CV developed an Xtreme FX translucent neon CD case in bright eye catching colors.

Results: Each event attendee that visited the Clairol booth was given a custom Xtreme FX CD case to hold a CD rom or music CD. Each case was printed with the new logo as well as the website address which expanded awareness for the new line.


Client: Mead Johnson Nutritionals

Brand/Program: aMall Sampling Program

Objective: Develop an attractive "lifestyle" package to hold new products for mall sampling tour.

Solutions: Created a custom clear vinyl reusable travel bag to hold the product with Viactiv colors and logo to hold 5 new products.

Results: Client achieved immediate trial of line extensions.

Brand/Program: Herbal Essences Custom Candle Launch

Objective: To develop and design an Herbal Essences Signature Candle Collection which reinforced core brand equity benefits and provided consumers with unique, innovative product formulations.

Solution: The Herbal Essences Signature Candle Collection offered consumers beautiful botanical candles available for the first time in mass outlets and patented clear wax candles only available from Clairol. The Herbal Essences Signature fragrance was infused in all formulations.

Results: Candle sales in test market exceeded objectives and line was expanded to additional markets.
